Veterinary certificates on white paper

From 1 March 2025 The Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) will stop using the current pre-printed blue certificate paper for non-digital veterinary export certificates and will use white paper. The pre-printed blue certificate paper is no longer being produced. The authorities of the involved countries have been informed through the Agricultural councils (Netherlands Agricultural Network).
The change does not apply to phytosanitary certificates.
What changes?
Only the paper will be different.
- The layout and content of the certificates remain unchanged.
- The physical certification, such as signature, official stamp and embossed stamp, is retained.
- The certification process will not change.
